Senior Developer - Unix, Shell Scripting, Ab Initio ETL and SQL - Luton or Bristol
Senior Developer that can demonstrate substancial development experience in Unix, Shell Scripting, Ab Initio ETL and SQL is required for our client specialising in Business Intelligence. The post holder will be responsible for the development and testing of components of a solution within a project framework with the minimum of supervision. You will be required to work to a solution design as directed by the Technical Project Manager, carrying out detailed design of solution components, maximising the reuse of any existing components. The role will involve identifying risks and issues, carries out Unit Tests, contributing to System testing and the support of User Acceptance testing, provide weekly reports, undertake peer reviews, maybe required to perform second line support function for production applications as a member of Application Support Team, coaching junior developers.
